Thunderous Wrath seems really interesting, how many do you run in your deck? Burn wants to reduce the amount of dead cards it has in its deck, so that every draw could mean the opponent's death! Thanks for commenting dude! Thanks for the reply!! It was really helpfull!! I have a list that I created after your deck on youtube, which really was my starting point. What would you take it out, to add him? No worries Gustavo, I am glad I can work through your deck with you!
First of all, I really like your inclusion of Brimstone Volley. That seems like it could be a really good card if Morbid is triggered!
How often does that end up happening? If it were me, I would most likely include one Shard Volley, just to have another 1 mana burn spell for 3 damage. I realize Shard Volley is terrible in multiples, but I think one is usually good as a late game bomb or a good topdeck. The versatility is also great with being able to target a creature, but this is honestly just a very minor tweak to the deck. As far as Dark Confidant goes, I think he is a very good sideboard card to have 3, potentially 4 of in the sideboard.
You would then remove Eidolon of the Great Revel and put him in its place. Bob helps you draw your "answer" cards like Destructive Revelry, allows you to outrace other aggro decks, and can even allow you to use lightning bolts as removal instead of just aimed at the face since you'll be drawing more lightning bolts. Magma Jet and Dark Confidant together allow you to find the answers you need, and are our only way to really select our cards so I think both are really good additions to a Jund Burn deck.
Grim Lavamancer and Searing Blaze will probably be sideboarded the most after Eidolon, depending on the matchup, so Bob can also take their place. I would be willing to say that most games when you are on the draw, it is probably safe to switch Eidolon out for Bob without any real danger.
Quite simply, in those matchups it is more relevant that we draw the sideboard cards we need to win than it is to punish our opponents for playing cheap spells. After thinking through the land base, I also think you could potentially cut down on two Blood Crypt without seeing a noticeable difference in the play style of the deck.
Use these lands to trade into a Dark Confidant or another fetchland or whatever; Blood Crypt is one of the most widely used fetch lands in Modern so you haven't lost any money by purchasing the extra ones. You could also go down another Blackcleave Cliffs if you wanted to trade it for something else.
Once again, Blackcleave is the most valuable land of its kind so you shouldn't have trouble finding a trading partner. Verdant Catacombs should work really well in this deck, I don't really see a problem with you running it minus being able to fetch for a basic Mountain, but once again it's about as important as running a single Shard Volley, so don't fret about it too much. What does your sideboard look like, and how has the deck been playing for you?
I'm glad to see another person running Jund Burn! Hey guys, sorry about the stupid long vacation from blogging about the world's best archetype. Classes have made me pretty busy trying to graduate and whatnot.
I was thinking about my next post I wanted to write a few days ago and that's when I thought about Vexing Devil. I realized Vexing Devil is one of those cards similar to Magma Jet which no one in the Burn community can seem to agree on whether it is a good or bad Burn card. That's when I had the idea to start a series where I go through these fringe Burn spells and make cases for and against them, and then give you my final verdict on them.
Alright super friends, let's get started on Vexing Devil. So first of all, what IS Vexing Devil? Well it's essentially a 4 damage Burn spell for 1 red mana. Nov 26, I am new to this plesae help. Completely surprised by the lack of blade diversity here on Drop Drop has really been kind of an interesting experience for me, because I do occasionally get to see some unusual tech and sometimes EDC items that otherwise I might not have been aware of.
And the bladed community here is just always confused me.. Mar 12, Can we get Sony E-Mount or other mirrorless camera options please.. Would be nice to see some Sony E mount full frame cameras on here. I currently shoot with a A99 and they killed the lense path for better or more option lenses and now is all E-Mount.
Jan 13, And this isn't either of them! The Pandas we're talking about here, are watches, not bears. And what got me thinking about them again was a link posted this morning by cm. The reason for that distinction is clear--Panda bears, only come in the first arrangement.

I have a distinct memory of an opponent who played three of them in one game. Was pretty harsh. I am a certified Magic: The Gathering judge. User Info: Latronis. I used vexing devil quite effectively while shrine of burning rage was still legal.
Yes Vexing Devil belongs in a burn deck, standard currently has pretty bad burn to go along with it and lots of maindeck lifegain in the meta and no good answers to it ala rain of gore Ergo Vexing Devil is bad its only deck is bad, and it has terrible matchups Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder.

I've already posted about why the card is bad that I'm pretty sure you've seen.
