WOW a dream coming true again. We did this together. I was a part of a Marching Band again. Naturally that included being the RN for them, helped with planning the role of the Flags in the halftime show and Band Trips. My two children followed in our footsteps. She still comes back for Alumni Band Day. After she married They moved to MA. She became a teacher if the Hearing Impaired. She used her French Hirn to let the students feel the music With their hands placed in the horn.

His eldest son graduated from Ithaca, also and does sound engineering for companies in New York City. Our other 3 sons all graduated college, and are very successful, also. This family is blessed. Working as part of a team: when playing in a band, you can never be selfish. You have to work with others to make sure the performance is as good as it possibly can be; ensuring your part fits in well with all others, helping your fellow band members out if they forget their part or drop something mid performance, and generally being a valued and valuable member of an important team.
