The performance is amazing. I seldom use sport mode, as acceleration is fine without it. The handling is great. Basically the difference between the standard and the abarth is what you would do to tune up the car. The car is just flat fun to drive. I really enjoy driving my fiat. Plus, when you put it into sport mode it feels like a race car. However, the one thing that I do not particularly like is how small the gas tank is. I find myself filling up with gas once or twice a week. Additionally, I do not save too much on gas since I drive the sport trim. Overall, if you are looking for a fun vehicle to drive I highly recommend a fiat.
Nothing indicates it is a fiat except the radio when you start the car. People brush off fiats for issues and reliability but as long as you are not going wild modifying the car, it will serve you well.
There's weird little quirks like how the doors lock, how the thermometer is totally off, etc. But none of that matters because this car is a blast to drive.

I would not recommend this as a family vehicle for it is very small, but for a single person, a couple, or some friends on a trip it is perfect to get the job done I love driving my fiat two door hatch sunroof power windows. Handles long commutes well. Can fit a family of four and room in the trunk. It is a tight squeeze but it works. Cools off quickly during hot summers. Handles dirt roads well. Bluetooth is hit or miss and sometimes will disconnect at random. The ac vents also break easily and need the plastic covers replaced often.
Sounds cool, it is loud and fun to drive around. Super cute design. It is really great on gas and it is a reliable car. I have not had very many problems with this car other than battery and electrical issues but those were easily fixed with a quick battery or part change. It is also very easy to weave through traffic and fit into tight parking spaces.. So far we have had our fiat for 5 month and we have had very mild issues. It is perfect for 1 to 2 people, has CD player which is a dying perk in vehicles, also has Bluetooth and USB for easy use.
The vehicle runs great and get great gas mileage.
